Another beast on the loose committing rape jihad against random women

Man sexually assaults two women in Withington

Police have released an e-fit and CCTV images of a man who sexually assaulted two women in Withington.

At around 3am on Thursday 19th February 2015, the two 21-year-old women were walking along Wilmslow Road in Withington when they were approached from behind by an unknown man.

He sexually assaulted both of them, then continued walking down Wilmslow Road towards Withington.

The offender has been described as an Asian man, in his late 20s or early 30s, about 5ft 5in tall and of medium build. He was wearing a dark front-zipped hoody and a black baseball cap.

Constable Christopher Turner said: “This appears to be an opportunistic assault, as there is no evidence when looking at CCTV that the females have been followed or specifically targeted.

“However, that does not mean that these assaults were not serious and I am sure they were deeply distressing for the victims.

“I understand that such incidents can cause distress, not just to those in the local community but also those in neighbouring areas; and as a result we will be increasing patrols in the area.

“I would like to assure everybody that this investigation is very much active and enquiries are on going, however if anybody recognises this man or has any information then I would urge them to please come forward.”

Anybody with information should contact police on 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously on 0800 555 111.
