A female clubber was raped outside a Blackburn nightclub The Stage Door. The venue has a reputation locally as being a ‘gay bar’. Lancashire police have released CCTV pictures of the two suspects. No description is given alongside the images of the Muslim looking offenders. Though considering the story is published also in Asian Image it would more than likely be safe to assume they are indeed Muslims due to as the name of the paper suggests it is for Asian people on subjects relevant to them.

Appeal after woman is raped in Blackburn
DETECTIVES are appealing for information after a woman reported she was raped in Blackburn town centre and have issued CCTV in a bid to try to trace a suspect.
The 20 year old local woman was in the Stage Door club on Mincing Lane on Saturday (January 18th) when she was approached by two men aged about 19-25 years in the bar who started chatting to her.
One of them asked her to go to the toilet with him and he began to grab her inappropriately but in an effort to avoid him she went outside to have a cigarette at about 1.40am (Sunday, January 19th).
The man followed her and dragged/pushed her across St Peter’s Street and down Mincing Lane and into a recess between two buildings and behind Hex Tattoo shop. He there pinned her against the wall and raped her.
She managed to get away and report the assault.
Detective Sergeant Eugene Swift, of Blackburn Public Protection Unit, said: “This must have been a terrifying ordeal for this woman and I would appeal for anyone who recognises the men in these CCTV images or who has any information to get in touch.”
Anyone with information should contact police on 101 quoting log number 231 of January 19th or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
