Yet another person needing hospital treatment after becoming  victim of a violent pack attack, this time in Swindon.

POLICE in Swindon are appealing for information after a 19-year-old man was assaulted in the town centre early this morning.

The victim suffered facial injuries, including a bloody nose, after being assaulted by a group of people close to The Mailcoach and Sir Daniel Arms pubs shortly after 2am. He was treated by paramedics at the scene and taken to the GWH to be checked over.

One of the alleged offenders is described as Asian in appearance and possibly wearing a black jacket. The group ran off towards Canal Street following the attack.

Anyone with any information or who witnessed the incident is asked to call police on 101 quoting reference number 010209. Alternatively people can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be left anonymously if they wish.
