Two Arrested Over 'Muslim patrol', But No Mention Of Hate Crime

Police have arrested two Muslims in connection with the Muslim Patrol videos that appeared over the last week.( link 1 and link 2 ) The videos which showed Islamic thugs in London targeting white non Muslims. Harassing and abusing them  trying to impose some kind of sharia law.

The Met Police said “The pair were arrested on suspicion of GBH and public order offences and have been bailed pending further enquiries”  It looks like this is going to be another good example of Britain’s 2 tier justice again as there has been no mention of hate crimes . For some reason Muslims get off lightly in terms of  not being charged with a hate crime when if it had been the other way around with a white no Muslim offender they would have the book thrown at them. Last year several EDL members got locked up for no more than words.

What is hate crime?

Hate crime involves any criminal offence which is perceived, by the victim or any other person, to be motivated by hostility or prejudice based on a personal characteristic. The definition covers five main strands, in particular – disability, gender-identity, race, religion or faith and sexual orientation.

Two men allegedly linked to a “Muslim Patrol” vigilante group have been arrested on suspicion of assault and harassment.

A 22-year-old man and a 19-year-old man were arrested in connection with an attack on a group of four revellers in Great Eastern Street in Shoreditch on January 6.

One victim needed hospital treatment after he was allegedly attacked for being in a “Muslim area.”

Police have also questioned the men in connection with video clips uploaded on to YouTube in which members of a group calling themselves Muslim Patrol confront members of the public in addition to two other incidents of harassment in east London.

In a video uploaded on to YouTube on Monday a hooded gang member shouts homophobic abuse at a young man.

Another gang member shouts: “This is a Muslim area get out of here. Get out here you bloody fag. You can’t stay round here anymore.”

Last week in a video called “The Truth About Saturday Night” women were called “naked animals with no self-respect” and the gang confronted members of the public taking “evil” booze out of their hands.

A Met Police spokesman said: “Officers investigating a series of incidents that took place whereby a small group of individuals were seen to approach and harass members of the public at various locations have arrested two men. Videos of the incidents were uploaded onto YouTube.

A 22-year-old man was arrested in the Acton area and a 19-year-old man who voluntarily attended an east London police station have been arrested in connection with the investigation.”

The pair were arrested on suspicion of GBH and public order offences and have been bailed pending further enquiries.
